Large Format Digital Printing Brings Players to Life

Without spoiling too many details that will be featured in the article, we can tell you that ArtisanHD was tapped for our large format digital printing. The goal was to create displays for a Hall of Fame installation at Petco Park in San Diego, home of the San Diego Padres National League baseball team.

The project, designed by Cherie Morgan of Morgan Design LLC, was perfect for ArtisanHD because we were able to use direct printing on acrylic with UV cured ink. Plus we utilized the unique white ink channel, which all of our flatbed printers feature. After a rush prototype and a home run on the concept, we were honored to join the team working on the Hall of Fame project. Players, a timeline wall, and leader board were all components that we helped create. Aluminum frames and an up-lit LED glow really brought it all together to make the printing pop!
