Direct to substrate prints, also known as direct to board prints, can be used in a variety of creative ways. You can print your favorite photos, artwork, or design using this method directly on to Sintra or Infinity Board. Then hang the custom artwork in your home or office. It’s also a wonderfully unconventional way to display graphics, such as point of sale signage in a retail space.

Direct to Photo Board prints, also known as hard surface prints, are great for both indoor and outdoor environment. The printing process used to create them makes them durable in almost any environment. 
The key is the UV curing ink applied to the rigid surface, either Sintra or Infinity Board, using our high definition large format inkjet printer. Using powerful UV light, the printer then cures the ink. This curing process offers incredible durability, which is why hard surface prints are suitable for outdoor displays without any protective coating. Direct to photo board prints also hold up well to indoor displays that receive a lot of direct sunlight. The perfect choice for any environment!
Direct digital printing to a board is a specialized high-tech printing process where an image is printed directly on a solid rigid medium like wood, plastic, or metal (tin, steel, and aluminum), instead of on vinyl, photo paper or canvas.
Direct to substrate printing refers to printing an image directly on the surface rather than the image printed on HD photo paper, then mounted to the substrate. In the case of direct to Plexiglass or acrylic prints, the substrate is Plexiglass. Substrate, in this instance, refers to the surface being printed on.
Substrate surfaces are so versatile and durable that they are used by professional artists, galleries, museums, framing shops and specialized printers to enhance the artistry and uniqueness of a photo or fine art piece. Professional mounting finished the artwork and makes it display as if its in a gallery.
