Not Just For Retail Anymore.
One way we create our custom backlit photography is using Duratrans™, Kodak’s large format, color transparency material fabricated to make large format graphics or posters for backlit displays. It is considered the finest transparency material available.
Duratrans prints have a digital resolution of up to 4,000 dpi (dots per inch) as compared to other materials with a maximum of 2,880 dpi. The results are truer, more vibrant colors, and sharp, crisp details. The Duratrans is printed on the LightJet. We do also print on backlit film on the Arizona 350 GT using the UV ink – 2 separate processes.
