TruLife™ Anti-Reflective Acrylic is a unique and specialized plexiglass product developed specifically for face/second surface mounting. Every acrylic art print is mounted to a 1/8″ piece of acrylic and can be printed on a variety of options to then be mounted onto the plexiglass. Choose from:

That’s because TruLife™ Anti-Glare Acrylic is manufactured with a proprietary anti-reflective coating that creates a nearly invisible surface, eliminating any distracting reflections or annoying glare that are associated with other acrylic plexiglass printing substrates. Non-Reflective Acrylic Face Mounting
Face Mounting using TruLife™ Anti-Reflective Acrylic provides a contemporary look for your fine art and photography similar to our Plexiglass Acrylic Face Mounting. But, unlike other acrylic print products that can attract dust and scratch easily, TruLife™ is anti-static and abrasion resistant.
Choose HD Photo Papers
You can go fully to the edge or keep a 2″ clear border around the art, however, that will impact your choices in HD photo paper. To ensure the highest quality print, we only recommend the following photo papers be second-surface mounted (mounted to the backside of clear acrylic using an optically clear adhesive):
- Full Bleed (image to the very edge): ImageTech Photo Gloss, or Austin Jet Silver Paper
- Salon Mount (with 2″ clear border): ImageTech Photo Gloss, or Austin Jet Silver Paper

Your HD photo print is mounted second-surface (behind the 1/8″ piece of TruLife™ Anti-Reflective Acrylic).
- We recommend a Museum Mount (no standoffs) for most prints, unless you are okay with the hardware showing in the corners of your image.
- A Salon Mount adds a 2” clear border around your image (added to your selected print size). This is similar in style to the direct print method.
- You can choose to add a Museum Back, giving the image a floating effect and allowing the wall color to shine through the 2” clear perimeter.
Note: Aluminum Museum Back option is hung with an aluminum wall cleat, also known as a “Z Hanger”.

I had ArtisanHd print one of the James Webb Space Telescopes first images that were recently released to the public. The print was 41.5″ x 24″ @ 260ppi printed on ImageTech Photo Gloss, mounted on TruLife Acrylic 1/8″ and Encapsulated with Dibond (White) on a Museum Sintra Wall Mount. Absolutely beautiful. The online order site at ArtisanHD is powerful and intuitive. I was easily able to download a large file quickly and see a virtual mock-up of the end product which is very realistic. Pricing was reasonable for a high quality acrylic print with a museum mount. The print was very well packaged for shipping and arrived just prior to the initial estimated date in perfect condition. This is my third order, and I will be back!

I’m a very novice photographer, yet I wanted to enlarge an image I took. I stumbled across ArtisanHD online and based on their excellent reviews decided to use them for an acrylic print. 1. I discovered Artisan HD via Google and am so glad I did! Everyone I spoke to at Artisan was very friendly, knowledgeable and eager to help me get what I wanted. Fernando, in particular was very helpful. The pictures do not do this thing justice! The colors are rich, vibrant and the photo clarity is incredible. Also, due to printing on the FujiFlex paper, the colors react to different lighting making the print appear to glow in some areas and really giving you a different viewing experience. Everyone who has seen it (even my kids) make comments on how awesome it looks. I will definitely be using Artisan HD in the future!

ArtisanHD in Scottsdale processed/developed (not inkjet/printed) my print on super fancy Fuji Crystal Archive magic photo paper with front no glare Acrylic Mounting – like In Peter Lik’s Galleries. Ironically, you cant appreciate the quality in a picture of a picture, but it is absolutely impressive – it just glows. Real True colors. Now to get better fancy light bulbs too!

I ordered a 24 x 36 print of a photo of Big Ben I took during my family’s trip to London in the Spring of 2018. I have very little experience with printing, and none with this type of product. I submitted a question online and Mike, the Director of of Ecommerce and Custom Sales responded very quickly. He and I exchanged several emails in which he answered all of my questions. He also took the time to personally review my image before I ordered it. He made some suggestions for additional edits to get the maximum quality result. And the resulting print is nothing short of amazing. It is now the center piece in our family room.
Without question, the results would not have been as good if Mike had not been involved. I am especially impressed and thankful that he took the time to make sure the image was prepped the right way. It is an outstanding example of customer service. I look forward to my next orders with ArtisanHD.

I ended up ordering from ArtisanHD, one of the labs that prints on acrylic with TruLife. When the print arrived, I was floored! It’s so bright. It gives the illusion that it picks up all the light in the room and lets it shine forward out of the print, like light from the edges is gathered and shone forward, too. I love it. It truly shows the vision I had in each step of making this photograph.
I also liked that the photo arrived ready to hang on the wall. Its thin mounting and standout profile further the “pop”. It could be framed, but I like the modern look of it hanging on its own without the physical and visual weight of a frame.

Artisan HD’s work is spectacular & I know from my own experience! The prints on each end in the photo below are printed on Fuji Crystal Archive paper & faced mounted to TruLife acrylic. Spectacular low glare & metallic sheen. Love them!

TruLife Acrylic was a great choice for printing our multi-phase photo. Our photo of the Manhattan Skyline shows well underspot lights and the acrylic product adds depth to the photo. There is no glare on the photo even when used as a background with our video conferencing equipment. We are extremely pleased with the application for this product.
