ArtisanHD was thrilled to be a sponsor of the ‘Arizona For Africa’ benefit art gallery event hosted by WorldPix. The art auction displayed a mixture of vibrant prints submitted from various talented photographers. The concept of their images all capturing the beauty of both Arizona and Africa.

The team at Worldpix arranged the gallery art auction with the intent of highlighting beautiful artwork, as well as, raising money for some great causes. A few Arizona causes included helping refugees, children’s homes, and programs for drug abuse in the Phoenix area. In Africa, causes geared towards various orphanages in Tanzania, Botswana, and Kenya. Also, a refugee camp in Rwanda and an HIV/AIDS clinic in South Africa.
Through everyone’s participation and efforts, the benefit auction earned over $50,000 towards their charitable causes. The gallery exhibit display will be open to the public until November 27th, at the Desert Foothills Luthern Church in North Scottsdale, Arizona.

Display Your Gallery-Level Artwork With HD Acrylic
The folks over at WorldPix were looking for gallery-level printing for their big night art auction and display. Collaborating closely with the Artisan team, it was decided that the photographs would be printed on HD Kodak Metallic Paper and mounted under an 1/8″ layer of Acrylic.
This is a great choice, as the acrylic reacts beautifully with light and displays remarkable detail and clarity.
The HD Kodak metallic paper also has a high gloss finish and an ultra-bright background that leaves the print appearing almost three-dimensional. The combination of the two make for a visually striking end result.
